Binh Duong Provincial Police receives delegation of RoK’s Daejeon City Police
MPS - A delegation of the Police Department of Daejeon city, Republic of Korea, led by its Director Hwang Un Ha, recently visited and worked with the Binh Duong Provincial Police Department.
The RoK delegation visited 2 Korean companies doing business in industrial zones of Binh Duong. The companies briefed the visiting delegation that they have enjoyed safety and stability as well as favorable conditions offered by the provincial authorities while doing business there. Binh Duong is home to a large number of foreign investment companies, in which the number of the RoK companies ranks 5th.
The RoK delegation then had a meeting with the Provincial Police of Binh Duong. At the meeting, Senior Colonel Trinh Ngoc Quyen, Director of Binh Duong Police, briefed the guests on the security and order situation in the province in recent years. Both sides also exchanged experience in crime prevention and combat in the current new situation as well as issues related to the management of traffic order and safety. Mr. Hwang Un Ha also informed efforts of the RoK police in protecting Vietnamese citizens living and working in the country.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Senior Colonel Trinh Ngoc Quyen affirmed that the provincial police will seriously implement the contents of the MoU, including protecting safety and security for RoK businesses and citizens under the laws of Vietnam; actively coordinating with the police of Daejeon city in preventing and fighting transnational crimes and terrorism.
Mr. Hwang Un Ha appreciated the socio-economic achievements of Binh Duong, thanked the host for the kind reception and hoped that the cooperation between the two sides would further thrive.
