At the talks, Minister To Lam emphasized that the MPS of Vietnam considers promoting exchange of delegations at all levels with Mongolia to share experiences in preventing terrorism, enhance cooperation in investigating and handling information about terrorist activities and suspected terrorists in each country, increase coordination in developing anti-terror plans for diplomatic and foreign trade representative missions as well as citizen and national interests of one country in the other country.
Minister Lam asked Mongolia to accelerate the procedures to sign agreements on the transfer of sentenced persons; further consider about the establishment of bilateral cooperation mechanisms in the field of security in order to share information of mutual interests, in security protection for high-level visits and diplomatic representative agencies, diplomats and citizens of each country; promote cooperation at multilateral mechanisms of which both countries are members, such as international treaties on transnational organized crime, counter-terrorism, anti-corruption and anti-torture.
Minister Lam affirmed that the MPS of Vietnam would do its utmost to promote cooperation with the National Security Council of Mongolia, thereby contributing importantly to the cause of ensuring national security, social order and safety of each country.
Mr. Amarjargal Gansukh highly appreciated the fine relations and cooperation between the two countries as well as the mutual support on the international stage. He also emphasized that he would do the best to contribute to the development of relations between the two countries in general, and cooperation between the MPS of Vietnam and the National Security Council of Mongolia in particular, for the benefits of the two peoples, as well as for peace and stability in the region and world.
