Public Security Minister visits Vietnamese embassy in Kazakhstan
MPS - Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General To Lam on April 20 led a high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to visit and work with the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Kazakhstan.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Kazakhstan Doan Thi Xuan Hien said, the embassy actively launched activities in celebration of the 25th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Kazakhstan last year.
Minister Lam spoke highly of the important role of the Ambassy in cultivating the traditional friendship between the two countries. He briefed the embassy’s staff on the domestic political and socio-economic situation, as well as the Public Security Forces’ achievements in preventing and fighting crimes. He also informed them of the outcomes of the talks held earlier between the Vietnam’s MPS and the National Security Committee (NSC) of Kazakhstan.
The Minister hoped that each embassy official will strive to fulfill their assigned tasks and foster the traditional friendship between the two countries.
