Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son warmly welcomed the Chinese delegation led by Mr. Hu Zhuo. He also congratulated the fine outcomes of the 2nd Law Enforcement Cooperation Meeting of public security forces of Guangxi and Vietnam’s 4 provinces of Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Cao Bang and Ha Giang, which was co-chaired by Mr. Hu Zhuo and a leader of Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security, contributing to promoting cooperation in security, prevention and fight against crime, as well as peace and happiness of the people and building the Vietnam - China borderline of peace, friendship and development.
The Deputy Minister also said that the public security forces of the two sides have actively exchanged information and coordinated closely in the fight against crimes, particularly drug-related crime and human trafficking; they also conducted joint dissemination of security and order regulations among border residents of the two countries, and ensured security and safety for agencies, enterprises and citizens of one country living and working in the other country.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son hoped that the two sides would continue to step up implementation of agreements and memorandums signed between the two sides, in the coming time. He suggested the tow sides further exchange information on criminal cases and criminals; promptly handle each other’s requests on criminal verification and investigated cases at best under the laws of the two countries to improve the quality and effectiveness of prevention and fight against crime, contributing to ensuring stability and development of the two countries, as well as meeting the needs and desire for cooperation between the two sides.
Mr. Hu Zhuo sincerely thanked Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son for his reception and vowed to make further contributions to the cooperation and friendship between Vietnam and China, as well as the law enforcement forces of the two sides.
