Vietnamese police present medical supplies to Lao counterparts

MPS - Over the past time, the police of Nam Dinh, Vinh Phuc, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh and Hanoi have present medical supplies for the police of their Lao sister localities of Oudomxay, Luang Namtha, Sainyabuli, Bokeo and Vientiane in support of their fight against the pandemic.

On June 18, at the Cau Treo Border Gate in Ha Tinh province, a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) led by Colonel Ta Xuan Hung from the Department of Foreign Affairs under the MPS, on behalf of the Vietnamese twin police departments, handed over anti-COVID-19 medical supplies (including 25,000 antibacterial medical masks, 35,000 cloth facemasks, 400 hand sanitizer bottles) to representatives of the Department of International Relations under the Lao MPS.

On behalf of the beneficiary Lao police units, Lieutenant Colonel Saiphon Hommisay, Deputy Director of the International Relations Department under the Lao MPS expressed gratitude to the police of the twin localities for their valuable and timely support. He affirmed that the Lao counterpart will quickly deliver the medical supplies to the local police units.
