Criminal Police Force reviews its Party work and emulation movement

MPS - The Criminal Police Department (CPD) on July 3rd held a conference to review its Party and political work in the first 6 months of 2020 and honor outstanding examples in the emulation movement “For Fatherland Security” of the 2015-2020 period. Major General Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended and delivered remarks at the event.

According to the 6-month summary report, the Party organization of the CPD has successfully completed its working plans and political tasks. The work of Party building and force building has been renovated and closely linked with professional tasks. All officers tried to overcome difficulties at work and accomplish their assigned tasks.

The emulation movement "For Fatherland Security" in the period of 2015-2020 reached fruitful, comprehensive and practical results. Particularly, the Criminal Police Department was honored with the First-Class Victory Medal by the State President while four teams and eight individuals were awarded the Medals of Fatherland Protection, Medals of Victory at all levels. A lot of other outstanding teams and individuals were presented with Certificates of Merit by Prime Minister and other Central-level agencies and local governments.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To praised the efforts and achievements of the CPD. He emphasized that the CPD should continue to heighten the spirit of emulation so that all officers and staff are always determined to excellently complete their assigned tasks. Leaders of the CPD should promote and spread good examples across the force.

Regarding the key tasks of its Party work in the second half of 2020, the deputy minister suggested that the Party Committee of the CPD should closely follow the direction of the upper-level Party Committees in organizing its Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.
