Department for Science, Strategy and History reviews its task performance in H1 2021

MPS - The Public Security Department of Science, Strategy and History held a video-meeting on July 16 to review its performance of tasks in the first half of 2021. Major General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended the meeting.

According to reports at the meeting, the department proactively researched and assessed strategic and urgent issues, and forecast future security situations in the world and region as well as their implications for Vietnam's national security in 2021.

In addition, it combined theoretical research with practical lessons to concretizing viewpoints and guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State on security and social order in serving the work of the public security force.

Regarding its journal, the department made new improvements to its journal in terms of contents in line with the original principles and purposes while meeting the political, legal and diplomatic requirements and effectively supporting the Public Security Ministry’s information work and political orientation in 2021 and beyond.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung recognized and praised the achievements obtained by the department in the first 6 months of 2021.

The deputy minister also asked the department to further develop a high quality force of scientific researchers who have strategic thinking and scientific working styles and are able to complete difficult tasks assigned by the Party, State and the Ministry of Public Security.
