Department of Security Investigation strives to make no mistake in investigating cases

MPS - The Department of Security Investigation (DSI) under the Ministry of Public Security, on January 7 held a conference to review its task performance in 2019 and roll out its working plan for 2020. Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended and spoke at the conference.

Briefing the participants on the outcomes of task performance, the DIS’s leader affirmed that all tasks assigned to the department in 2019 was accomplished while all cases were solved in accordance to directions of Ministry of Public Security, in line with the laws and regulations.

Particularly, all security-related cases were investigated and prosecuted by the department in line with the laws without making any mistakes or negatively affecting the country’s external relations. For those outstanding achievements, a lot of units and officers of the DSI was honorably awarded the Feat Orders.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam acknowledged and praised the outstanding achievements of the DSI in 2019. The deputy minister suggested that the DSI should continue to promote its working efficiency in 2020 and strictly follow the principles and procedures for investigation and prosecution of security-related cases. The force should also combat security-related crimes in a thorough but objective manner.
