Hai Duong Provincial Police continue deploying professional police officers to local communes.

MPS - The Hai Duong Provincial Police Department on December 6 held a conference to review the implementation of the first phase of the project to deploy professional police officers to local communes and roll out the next phase of the project.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered a speech at the event.

The event also saw the presence of Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Nguyen Duong Thai, Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee.

Recently, the Hai Duong Provincial Police Department has actively developed and implemented a 2-phase project to deploy professional police officers to communal police posts.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son and Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien present flowers of congratulation to the newly-deployed heads of communal police posts.

 

In the first phase, the Hai Duong Provincial Police Department posted 82 professional police officers to 16 communes and townships in the province, of which 10 are hotspots with a complex security and order situation. Accordingly, each commune or township had at least 4-6 professional police officers.

In the second phase, the Hai Duong Provincial Police Department continued to appoint 191 police officers from districts, towns and provincial cities as heads and deputy heads of communal police posts as well as to deploy 165 other professional police officers to 102 communes and townships of the province.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son recognized and appreciated the efforts and achievements of all Hai Duong police officers and soldiers over the past time.

At the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son urged communal police officers to thoroughly grasp the grassroots-level situation, ensure local security and order, support local people and promote close connections with the local authorities, contributing to local socio-economic development and improving the living standards of the people.

The Deputy Minister also suggested the Hai Duong Provincial Police Department to select qualified officers and soldiers for refresher courses and then post them to communes and townships according to the set plan while increasing investment in communal police posts and taking due care of the professional commune police force.
