Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered a keynote speech at the event.
The hospital has developed strongly although facing various difficulties and challenges over the past 20 years. The Hospital 199 was recognized as a first level general hospital in 2013.
The hospital now has 400 patient beds, 20 medical wards, 5 function rooms and 464 medical doctors, nurses and workers, and a modern medical system. Along with its main missions of providing medical examination and treatment for public security officers and soldiers in the Central and Central Highlands provinces, Hospital 199 also offers healthcare services to local people. It has also been chosen by local businesses to care for their employees’ health according to the medical insurance policy.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son appreciated the achievements gained by the hospital in the last 20 years, and asked the hospital’s leaders, doctors and workers to promote scientific research and apply medical achievements to its medical examination and treatment while heightening their sense of responsibility for performing their political mission of well treating patients.
