Kon Tum Provincial Police reviews deployment of professional police officers to communes

MPS - The Provincial Police Department of Kon Tum organized a conference on April 23 to review the three-month deployment of professional police officers to commune-level police posts. The event was attended by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

Over the last 3 months, the provincial police has deployed 349 professional police officers, including 2 female officers, to 86 commune-level police posts in the province, which has made positive changes in security and order situations and facilitated socio-economic development in the localities.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son asked relevant agencies under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to continue to advise leaders of the ministry to perfect the related legal foundations, open more training and re-training courses on professional skills and ethnic languages for commune-level police officers, and instruct the Provincial Police of Kon Tum to provide supports for the deployed officers in line with the policy of the MPS.

He also asked the provincial police to choose qualified officers and create favorable conditions for them to work at communal police posts. Leaders of the provincial police were also asked to attach importance to this project.
