Major General Le Tan Toi, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered a keynote speech at the ceremony.
Reportedly, the Long An provincial police recruited some hundreds of youths to do national service in the Public Security Forces. Several dozens of them have graduated from universities and colleges while 6 are Party members.
Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi praised the efforts of the Long An provincial police in making good preparations for the 2021 recruitment for the Public Security Forces.
Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi asked the police of Long An province to direct their functional units to strictly train and manage the newly-recruited soldiers while providing favorable conditions for them to successfully complete the recruit training program in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Public Security. The local police should also take measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and take due care of the health of the recruits.
The police at the grassroots level in Long An province should visit and inquire after the families of the newly-recruited soldiers, the Deputy Minister added.
