Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired the conference.
The event also saw the presence of leaders of the Party Central Committee’s Organizing Commission and Commission for Information and Education as well as representatives from the police departments of Quang Binh, Lam Dong, Gia Lai, Bac Lieu, Nghe An, Ho Chi Minh City, and public security academies.
At the conference, delegates agreed that the policy to organize training courses on high-level political studies at the provincial-level police department is appropriate as it can reduce the working pressure for public security schools and academies.
Leaders of the People's Security Academy, the People's Police Academy, and the People’s Public Security Academy of Politics affirmed that they will send lecturers to training courses on high-level political studies held at the provincial-level police department. They also pledged that they will actively coordinate with leaders of the local police to develop regulations to manage the learners.
To conclude the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh affirmed, the MPS will consider the demands for high-level political studies of local police officers and coordinate with relevant agencies to develop a master plan to open training courses on high-level political studies at the provincial-level police department in the coming time.
* Earlier, the delegation of the MPS inspected the Professional Training and Improvement Center of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department, which is expected to open such training courses in the future.
