The HCMC police force took good professional approaches to prevent motor racing, curb criminal cases, and reduce traffic jams.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long requested the police of HCMC to take advantage of on-the-spot resources to prevent fires and consider fire prevention as a long-standing and major priority.

Local police should equip residents with knowledge of fire prevention and skills to safely escape in case of fire, the Deputy Minister added.
Regarding the work of ensuring traffic safety, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long emphasized that, as people's need for traveling increases after the pandemic, the HCMC police should pay due attention to ensuring traffic safety while decentralizing vehicle registration and preparing for auction of license plates as planned by the MPS.
