
The training course took place in two days from January 14 – 15 and saw the participation of 320 trainees who are leaders and inspectors of public security inspectorates of agencies under the MPS and provincial-level police departments nationwide.
During the training course, the trainees were briefed on the circulars on reception and settlement of petitions and complaints regarding wrongdoings of units and officers of the Public Security Forces. Additionally, the MPS Inspectorate also gave trainees guidance on comprehensive inspections of the traffic police force’s task performances and the laws and regulations on executing criminal sentences and reintegration of ex-offenders into the community.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training course, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh emphasized that the public security inspection sector should renovate their working methods, standardize inspection procedures while improving legal knowledge and inspection expertise of public security inspectors so as to raise the quality and efficiency of inspection and settlement of complaints, denunciations, contributing to strengthening corruption prevention and fight in the Public Security Forces.
* On the same day, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh and other delegates offered incense to President Ho Chi Minh at his Memorial House in the headquarters of the Can Tho Municipal Police Department.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2021, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh also visited and extended greetings to police officers and soldiers of Can Tho city.
