The event saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Mr. Bui Van Tinh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Chairman of the Hoa Binh Provincial People’s Committee.
The Party Committee and Directorate of the Hoa Binh Police have seriously instructed all subordinate agencies and units to follow the directions of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), and attach great importance to the implementation of the movement in the past 5 years.
As a result, the Provincial Police was presented with the “Military Exploit” Order of second class by the State President; mentioned 10 times in letters sent by the State President and the Minister of Public Security, and more than 100 letters of thanks from the citizens. During the time, 1,417 teams and 2,319 individuals under the Provincial Police of Hoa Binh were praised by higher level authorities.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh and Mr. Bui Van Tinh hailed and congratulated the Provincial Police on their achievements.
The Deputy Minister also asked the Provincial Police to continue advise to the Party organizations and authorities of all levels to attach importance to the movement while promoting the movement within the local police force alongside strengthening the observance of the discipline and working regulations and procedures. In order to spread the movement, he suggested the provincial leadership early recognize and honor good models and creative methods during implementing the movement, as well as encourage and praise outstanding teams and individuals with achievements and feats of arms, particularly examples of officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police in crime prevention and combat.
On this occasion, the MPS presented a “Excellent Emulation” Flag to one team and Certificates of Merit to 3 teams and 6 individuals of the Hoa Binh Police Deparment. Additionally, the Provincial Police also presented Certificates of Merit to 3 teams and 6 individuals; Director of the Provincial Police mentioned 8 teams and 15 individuals.
