The festival was organized by the Ministry of Public Security to celebrate the 60th Founding Day of the People's Police Force (July 20, 1962 - 2022).
The event opened on May 7 and took place in Au Co Art Center in Hanoi for three days.
It attracted the participation of 21 art troupes from under-ministerial police agencies, police schools and provincial-level police departments.
Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc attended the closing ceremony of the festival and awarded prizes to the best individuals and teams.
He said that, during the three-day art program, some 100 songs, dances, musicals and dramas were performed. Some newly-composed pieces of art featuring the People's Police Force were also introduced at the festival.
The Deputy Minister suggested that, in the coming time, under-ministerial police agencies and local police departments should actively participate in activities to celebrate the 60th Founding Day of the People's Police Force.
At the closing ceremony, the Ministry of Public Security awarded certificates of merit to teams and officers who made great efforts and contributed to the success of the festival.
The Ministry of Public Security also awarded five first prize to excellent art troupes from the Dak Lak Provincial Police Department, the Mobile Police Command, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, the People's Police Academy, the Dien Bien Provincial Police Department.
Seven second prizes and nine third prizes were also awarded at the event.
Regarding individual performances, 20 first prizes and 30 second prizes were presented to outstanding artists.
