At the inspection, leaders of the Public Security Department of Health and the hospitals briefed Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son on their prevention and control of the pandemic over the past time and their plans to receive and carry out large-scale vaccination for public security officers and soldiers at the two hospitals in the coming time.
On behalf of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son praised the medical staff of the 19/8 Hospital and the Traditional Medicine Hospital who voluntarily came to the pandemic-hit province of Bac Giang to run the No. 2 Field Hospital in support of the local efforts in preventing the pandemic from May 27 to July 7.
He also spoke highly of the good preparations of the Department of Health and the two hospitals in terms of equipment, human resources, and plans for receiving and carrying out a large-scale vaccination drive for public security officers and soldiers. The deputy minister stressed that they should carry out their vaccination plans early and safely for both medical workers and people to get inoculated at the hospitals.
The Public Security Department of Health and the two hospitals should make and send detailed vaccination schedules to relevant units while ensuring the necessary equipment and reporting the vaccination progress to the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, the deputy minister added.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son requested the public security medical units to prepare forces to reinforce the fight against COVID in Southern provinces upon request of the Government and the Ministry of Health.
