To respond to possible heavy rains, floods, and landslides actively and effectively, the Ministry of Public Security asks all above-mentioned units to:
- Seriously follow directions of the Central Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, the Office of the National Committee for Search and Rescue, the MPS as well as the local authorities to respond effectively to dangerous weather phenomena.
- Closely monitor developments of the dangerous weather phenomena via the mass media to map appropriate response plans to the situations.
- Promote dissemination of information about activities of police forces in response to dangerous weather phenomena and in support of the disaster-hit people. Particularly, They should ensure safety for officers and soldiers on duty and deploy all available means and forces to disaster-hit localities upon request.
