The event also saw the presence of the Chief Representative of the Lao Ministry of Security in Vietnam, representatives from the Embassy of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Vietnam, representatives from the Higher Education Department under the Ministry of Education and Training and officials from agencies and units under the Ministry of Public Security and the Hanoi Municipal Police Department.
As reports on the academic results of the 2015 - 2019 training programs read, four students graduated at excellent grade while 430 students finished their programs at distinguish grade.
During the four-year training programs, four students were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Minister of Public Security, 384 students were awarded Certificates of Merit by the PPA and numerous students were awarded by agencies at all levels for their achievements in studying, training and fighting crimes.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son congratulated the fresh graduates on their excellent academic results.
The Deputy Minister urged the graduates to continue to creatively apply their acquired knowledge into their future work while constantly improving their practical skills and learning practical experiences.
For the graduated police officers from Laos, the Deputy Minister suggested that they should flexibly apply the knowledge learned at PPA to the crime prevention and control, social order and safety protection in their country. He also hoped they would act as a friendship bridge connecting the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Security of Laos.
