Trade Union organization of Department of Security Industry asked to take care of members

MPS - The Department of Security Industry (DSI) under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on February 21 held a conference to roll out its Trade Union’s work and labor movements in 2020.

The conference saw the presence of Senior Colonel Nguyen Duy Toan, Director of the DSI and Colonel Vu Manh Ha, President of the Trade Union organization of the Public Security Forces.

Over the past year, the DSI attached importance to implementing comprehensively Trade Union's work. Meanwhile, the Trade Union chapter of the DSI strictly followed the resolutions of the Party Committee, instructions from leaders of the DSI and working plans of the Trade Union organization of the Public Security Forces. Cadres in charge of trade union work of units under the DSI well performed their roles of representing civilian officials and workers at their units, took care and protected the legitimate rights and interests of all Trade Union members.

The outstanding groups and individuals are honored at the conference.

 

Speaking at the conference, Senior Colonel Nguyen Duy Toan and Colonel Vu Manh Ha recognized and applauded the outstanding achievements gained by trade union cadres and members of the DSI over the past year. They also requested them to further renovate and improve the quality of the operation of trade union chapters at all levels. The trade union chapters of the department should mobilize their members to implement the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws and their units’ working plans.

At the same time, the DSI should provide more support for trade union chapters at all levels in the Public Security Forces, pay due attention to improving the qualifications for civilian officials and workers at public security agencies and units, and renovate both forms and contents of labor movements to reach more practical outcomes.
