An Giang policewomen support women in border areas

MPS - On the occasion of the 4th patriotic emulation and the 90th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union, a delegation of female police officers of the An Giang Provincial Department, in association with the “Chia se - Sharing” Group, visited and provided support to women in need in Lac Quoi commune, Tri Ton district, An Giang province, on September 13.

This part of the social program “An Giang policewomen supporting border women” funded by the “Chia se – Sharing” Group.

With the aim of helping women in remote, border areas improve their lives and escape from poverty as well as develop a sustainable household economy, the delegation presented 70 breeding pigs, worth 350 million VND, to women in a difficult state. The delegation also presented gifts and necessities to poor people in border areas.

This meaningful activity helped people in need, and also raised the sense of responsibility of police officers towards disadvantaged people.
