The youths of the Logistics and Internal Security Divisions under the Provincial Police of Bac Kan, on January 18, carried out a charitable program in Sac Sai Village, Cu Le Commune, Na Ri District. Sac Sai, located 10 km away from the commune center, is home to 45 households, including 16 rated as “near-poor” households. The charitable team offered free health check-ups, medicines and health counseling to some 50 local people. They also presented 47 gifts, worth 25 million VND, including warm blankets and confectionery to local people.
The Traffic Police of Bac Kan on January 19 in coordination with donors visited and presented gifts to children at Na Coi Preschool and Primary School, Banh Trach Commune, Ba Be District. Na Coi is one of five rural villages of Banh Trach, located 15 km away from the commune’s center. It is home to 65 households, with a majority of the Dao ethnic minority group. The locals live mainly on cultivation of corn and rice so they face various difficulties in life. The charitable team presented 40 packs of gifts, worth 28 million VND, including warm blankets, shirts, hats and confectionery to 40 students. With the gifts presented to the students, the kind-hearted policemen hoped to ease their difficulties and encourage them to go to school.
