Binh Duong police issue ID cards to needy people
MPS - The Binh Duong Provincial Police Division for Administration and Management of Social Order on May 4 deployed working teams to hamlets to issue ID cards to disadvantaged people.
The program helped local people save their costs and time. The Binh Duong Provincial Police Division for Administration and Management of Social Order in collaboration with the Dau Tieng District Police Station and An Lap Commune Police Post conducted a general survey on the local population and sent officers to the locality to guide the local people to complete the procedures for renewal or issuance of ID cards, following the principle of short time and convenience, and in accordance with the law.
The working teams of police officers renewed or issued 112 ID cards to local people. The working teams also went to the homes of elderly, ill or disabled people and issued ID cards to them.
Although issuing ID cards to people at home created more difficulties and hardships for the police officers, they with a high sense of responsibility still managed to have served all needy local people. This activity contributed to promoting the good image of the police in the people’s hearts.
