Gratitude house for a poor commune police officer

MPS - The Uong Bi Municipal Police Department in Quang Ninh Province has recently launched a ground-breaking ceremony for a gratitude house, which will be presented to Truong Van Nhat, Deputy Chief of the Commune Police Post of Thuong Yen Cong Commune, Uong Bi City.

Representatives of provincial police units, local authorities and family launched the groundbreaking ceremony.


Truong Van Nhat currently supports his ill mother, unemployed wife and two young children. They are living in a degraded fourth-class house. The whole his family depends on his allowance of a commune police officer of VND1,2 million per month.

Truong Van Nhat started working as communal non-commissioned police officer from 2009, and he was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Chief of the Commune Police Post in 2010.

The local police units offer Nhat VND 100 million to build his home.


To support Truong Van Nhat to build his home, the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department offered him VND20 million, the Police Emulation Group of 14 local units gave him VND100 million, and the Youth Union and the Women Union of the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department granted VND10 million to him.

In addition, the Party Committee, and authority of Thuong Yen Cong Commune and other organizations and individuals also supported him in building the gratitude house.
