Lao Cai Police enhance voluntary activities toward grassroots

MPS - A delegation led by Senior Colonel Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department of Lao Cai has recently organized a law dissemination drive and provided free health check-ups, medical treatment, and medicines to people and students in Den Thang Commune, Bat Xat District, Lao Cai Province.

The police popularized laws to local people in Mong language, with a focus on  prevention and fight against economic fraud, property appropriation and child marriage, while traffic police officers held a public meeting to equip local people and students with knowledge of the Road Traffic Law, and  skills to handle certain traffic situations. Meanwhile, doctors of the Provincial Police Department provided free health check-ups, medical treatment, and medicines to poor people and students in Den Thang Commune, Bat Xat District, Lao Cai Province.

With the aim of easing difficulties in life of the local people, the delegation handed over 306 warm blankets to poor households in three villages of Ta Phin Commune, Sa Pa District, Lao Cai Province, namely: Ta Phin, Ban Pho and Sin Chai. The delegation also visited three schools located in Den Thang Commune and handed over 105 warm blankets, 644 warm clothes, 200 medicine units, 30 boxes of noodles, 12 heaters and other gifts to the schools and students.

The supports of officers and soldiers of the Lao Cai Provincial Police Department meant much to the poor people and students. With their practical activities toward the needy people, officers and soldiers of the Lao Cai Police have contributed to beautifying the image of police officers in the people’s hearts.
 

Police doctors provide health check-ups, medical treatment and medicines distribution for poor people.
