Muong La district police donate blood to save a woman

MPS - Young officers and soldiers at the Muong La District Police Station saved a woman who had a severe loss of blood after giving birth on July 19.

Thanks to timely blood donation of the three police officers and soldiers, patient Cu Thi Senh has been saved.

Reportedly, the Muong La District General Hospital (Son La Province) called to help a woman Cu Thi Senh (born 2002, residing in Nong Hoi Duoi village, Chieng An commune, Muong La district) who was in a critical condition due to a massive loss of blood after giving birth.

Meanwhile, the blood reserve at Muong La District General Hospital had run out as much reserved blood had been used to treat COVID-19 patients.

In response to the call, the leaders of the Muong La District Police Station mobilized young officers and soldiers to donate blood to save the patient.

Through the blood testing, three officers and soldiers had the same blood type as the patient and could transfuse their blood to her.
