Police support people returning home from pandemic-hit localities

MPS - Knowing that people returning home from pandemic-hit localities faced lots of difficulties, the An Giang police have joined efforts with local authorities and functional units to provide support for mountainous people at Tri Ton district.

Local police have actively coordinated local authorities, religious dignitaries, and reputable people of ethnic minority communities to support the mountainous people who suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The police force help people returning home safely.

Tri Ton district has received and supported over 8,400 returnees with the motto "No one is left behind". The returning people have also been offered many necessities, helping them overcome their difficulties and soon stabilizing their lives.

The district police force also regularly patrolled and monitored the returnees in the locality to make sure that they stay safe at home and obey the anti-COVID regulations.

Police, religious dignitaries and local authorities visit and encourage people to practice self-isolation at home.
