Earlier, the units had mobilized local police officers and soldiers to raise funds for the construction of “Gratitude” houses for two war veterans. The first beneficiary is Chan Sinh Giang aged 75, who engaged in the battlefield of Quang Tri, and now lives in Hong Ngai A village. The second one is war veteran Mr. Mua Mi Toa aged 60, who fought at Vi Xuyen front (Ha Giang province) during the Northern border protection war and now lives in Hong Ngai C village.

The two houses will be built following the traditional home pattern of the Mong people.

Ha Giang Public Security officers help veterans build solid concrete houses.

Veteran Chan Sinh Giang is given money in support of the construction of his home.

The meaningful charitable program is within the framework of the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind" launched by the Prime Minister. The program aims at poor people, particularly war veterans and people of ethnic minorities.
