*In An Giang province:
The An Giang police visited and presented 10kg of rice to each of 65 families facing difficulties due to the pandemic in An Hao commune, Tinh Bien district. They also encouraged the locals to raise their awareness of preventing and controlling the COVID-19 pandemic.
*In Ho Chi Minh City:
The Ho Chi Minh City Police Department offered VND 50 million to frontline officers with their families in difficult states, presented 2,400 facemasks to the Thu Duc police as well as gave 10 tons of rice and other necessities to disadvantaged people in Thu Duc City.
In addition, the Thu Duc police mobilized individuals and organizations to give over 11,819 packs of necessities to needy people, and called on landlords to exempt or reduce rent for tenants.
* In Bac Lieu province:
The Bac Lieu Provincial Police Department sent a delegation to visit and encourage frontline officers who work all day and night at checkpoints to prevent and control the pandemic. The delegation also presented 200 packs of noodles and 2,000 eggs to the disease prevention and control forces.
*In Soc Trang province:
The Women's Union Charter of the Soc Trang Provincial Police Department coordinated with anti-pandemic forces to mobilize resources to support the officers at disease control checkpoints with foods and medical supplies.
They also presented necessities to needy people and Khmer ethnic minority people affected by the pandemic as well as gave gifts to frontline officers’ families.
