Thai Nguyen policewomen support needy locals

MPS - In response to the emulation movements launched by the Thai Nguyen Provincial Women's Union and the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police Department, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police Women's Union chapter, over the past time, has actively organized social programs to support needy locals. Their activities have contributed to promoting a beautiful image of the People's Public Security Forces among local people.

The Thai Nguyen Provincial Police Women's Union chapter has offered 1.5 tons of rice, 100 boxes of instant noodles, 500 anti-droplet face-shields to poor women in the province and workers at the Diem Thuy Industrial Park (Phu Binh district) amid complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since the beginning of 2020, the chapter has presented 250 packages of gifts, worth VND 50 million in total, to poor women and households negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the province.

Policewomen come to remote areas, and places of ethnic minorities to grant ID cards for local people.


Local policewomen also popularized laws, criminal tricks and approaches to prevent crimes, especially drug-related crimes, hi-tech crimes, human trafficking. The policewomen also came to communes and schools to issue ID cards for students, policy beneficiary families, old-aged and disabled people in place.

At work, policewomen of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police Department have always heightened their sense of responsibility so they have attained various achievements in the fight against crimes. They have also mobilized local people to participate the movement “All people protect the national security”, contributing to ensuring security and social order in the locality.

The Thai Nguyen Provincial Women's Union chapter presents necessities and medical equipment for COVID-19 prevention to local people.


A number of female professional police officers volunteered to work at communal police posts. There they have made great efforts to overcome various difficulties and successfully fulfill their assigned tasks.

Major Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, President of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police Women's Union chapter, said that the women's organization will continue to direct its chapters to implement the emulation movement "Public Security Forces studying and following Uncle Ho’s six teachings". They will also timely praise and popularize typical examples of female police officers from the grassroots level.
