The charitable mission visited three children protection centers, including the Nguyet Bieu Shelter of Hope, the An Tay Children Support Center and the Orphanage of Duc Son pagoda.
These three centers are now home to thousands of orphans, disabled children, or children from needy families.
Following Vietnamese people’s philosophy of life "A good leaf covers torn leaves", the IQ Club led by Chairwoman Giang My and the Thua Thien Hue Immigration Office donated 1.5 tons of rice, 100 boxes of instant noodles, 15 boxes of fresh milk, 30 kg of sugar and cash (worth VND 150 million) to the three above mentioned centers.
Reportedly, this was the third consecutive time that the IQ Club in collaboration with the Thua Thien Hue Immigration Office organized charitable activities in Thua Thien Hue.
Major Nguyen Thi Xuan Hue, Head of the Thua Thien Hue Immigration Office shared that the gifts mean their tons of love and care for the needy children, and that they wanted to join hands with the staff of the center to take care, raise and rehabilitate the children.
