Young policemen of Cao Bang launch voluntary campaign

MPS - The Youth Union Chapter of the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department in coordination with youths of other local units launched the 2019 summer voluntary campaign at Coc Gang hamlet, Chu Trinh commune, Cao Bang City, Cao Bang.

The organizers cut the ribbon to inaugurate a newly-built playground for children.


During the campaign, local youths have planned to organize summer activities for local children with the aim of bringing a rewarding, interesting and safe summer for the local children. They are also to participate in the building of new rural areas, environmental protection, prevention of natural disasters and epidemics, as well as to organize youth activities to ensure traffic order and safety, support students during the exam season, give vocational guidance to youth union members, and conduct other volunteer activities such as health care for the community, blood donation, prevention of crime and social evils…

At the launching ceremony, the organizers also inaugurated a playground for children of Coc Gang hamlet, presented 10 gifts to 10 policy households in Chu Trinh, a bookcase with 120 children books, and candies for children in 9 hamlets of Chu Trinh.

After the ceremony, the participating youths joined hands in dredging 50m of agricultural canal and supporting people of Na Tau hamlet of Chu Trinh to overcome consequences of the recent landslides. They also built a “flower path”, trained local children how to avoid sexual abuse and harassment, distributed 500 leaflets on traffic regulations and harms of drugs. Young policemen of the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department also held the “voluntary Saturday” on which they came to hamlets of Chu Trinh commune and issued ID cards to 40 citizens.
