Youths of Mobile Police Command organize voluntary campaign

MPS - The Youth Union Chapter and the Women’s Union Chapter of the Mobile Police Command organized a voluntary program in 4 border communes of Bac Yen District, Son La Province from December 26 to 29, 2018.

Officers and soldiers of the two organizations were divided into 3 different groups to visit 3 villages of Suoi Tenh, Suoi Hao and Suoi Chan, and Hong Ngai commune of Bac Yen.

Each voluntary group organized various programs, including dissemination of laws on human trafficking, immigration and traffic safety to raise the local people’s awareness of responsibility for protecting local security and order and building a civilized lifestyle. 

The voluntary teams also presented 20 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to local policy beneficiaries and poor students with high academic records.

They also offer free health check-ups and medicines to 700 local people in total, build 2 playgrounds and 1 kilometer of rural roads. Additionally, the police charitable team offered 120 blankets, 265 uniforms and 500 notebooks to local students as well as various necessities to local people.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a branch of Suoi Hao school, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Dien, Vice Commander of Mobile Police, said that the Mobile Police regularly carry out a winter charitable program in remote and disadvantaged localities to incite and promote voluntary spirit among young mobile police officers.
