Ninh Binh police arrest man transporting food without origin document

MPS - The police of Ninh Binh province recently handled a truck transporting 16 tons of food of unknown origin.

At 3:45 a.m. on January 20, a working group of the Economic Police Office, Traffic Police Office under the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department stopped a car with license plate 51D-389.68 running on the National Highway 1A section in Mai Son commune, Yen Mo district.

The police inspected the vehicle and discovered a large amount of raw animal meats. 

The police working group checks the food without origin documentation.

The driver named Tran Quoc Tuan (born in 1992, residing in Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province) could not present any papers related to the origin of the food. 

Answering the police’s questions, Tuan said that he was hired to transport the above meat from Hanoi to Southern provinces.

Currently, the Ninh Binh Economic Police Office is coordinating with relevant agencies to further investigate the case in accordance with the laws.
