Lao Cai Provincial Police actively participate in voluntary activities

MPS - Officers and soldiers of the Investigation Police Office for Drug-related Crimes under the Provincial Police Department of Lao Cai have recently participated in a voluntary program in Nam Chay commune, Van Ban district.

Doctors of Lao Cai Provincial Police offer free medicines to people of Nam Chay.


All people living in 8 villages of the commune are of the H’Mong ethnic minority. They earn their living mainly by cultivating agricultural crops so they still have various difficulties in life due to unfavorable transportation.

Voluntary team present gifts to poor people of Nam Chay.


Doctors of the Provincial Police Department’s infirmary visited and offered free health check-ups and medicines to 400 local people in Nam Chay.

Police officers support local people in completing documents for issuance of ID cards.


Additionally, the voluntary team also presented 9 televisions, 2 water filters and other necessities to students of the local boarding school as well as 388 blankets and instant noodles to poor households in the locality, and some gifts to communal police officers.

Police officers and soldiers build 300 square-meter concrete yard in Kham Tren village, Nam Chay commune.


Earlier, the voluntary team joined hands with locals in building a 300 square-meter concrete yard in Kham Tren village, and issued ID cards to 300 locals.
