An Giang police build “House of Comradeship” for retired public security officer

The An Giang Provincial Police Department recently held a ceremony to hand over a “House of Comradeship” to a member of the Vietnamese Association of Former People’s Public Security Officers.

Deputy Director of the An Giang Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Le Phu Thanh chaired the ceremony.

At the event, the An Giang Provincial Police Department presented a newly built house to Mr. Nguyen Van Long, a member of the Thanh Loc Communal Association of Former People’s Public Security Officers.

The 80-square-meter house, with a corrugated iron roof and tiled floor, was funded mainly by the Ministry of Public Security and the An Giang Provincial Police Department, while the family contributed the smaller remainder.

Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Colonel Le Phu Thanh congratulated Mr. Nguyen Van Long and his family on their new home, expressing his hope that Mr. Long would continue to uphold the good traditions of the People’s Public Security Forces, actively contribute to maintaining security and order in the local community, and further support the building of the Public Security Forces.
