
Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung inspects security protection for 14th National Party Congress
Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security, inspected the security protection plans for the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam at the National Convention Center on January 12, 2025.

During the inspection, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung and the delegation checked important locations, including reception halls, the main auditorium, meeting rooms and function zones as well as security control points, the arrangement of on-duty forces and plans to safeguard technical and logistical areas.
The Deputy Minister requested that relevant security units continue to closely monitor real-time situations at the venue to promptly identify potential risks and proactively neutralize emerging security situations in a timely manner, denying any strategic surprises or disadvantages.
Alongside on-site inspections, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung listened to a briefing on the preparatory work, task assignments and the on-site command and control mechanism of the security forces.
He underscored that the congress must be protected in an absolutely safe, secure and uninterrupted manner according to the significance of that particularly important national political event.
The Deputy Minister suggested clarifying responsibilities of each section and joining efforts in deploying security plans.
He also called on relevant forces to strengthen coordination, maintain a high level of readiness so as to effectively address any scenarios.
He noted, the security protection work should be carried out in a strict and procedural manner, firmly safeguarding absolute security and safety without affecting the congress.
