Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen attends military enlistment ceremony in Phu Tho province

Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen attended the 2026 enlistment ceremony on the morning of March 4 in Phu Tho province.

The ceremony also saw the presence of Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee and Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial Military Service Council Tran Duy Dong.

In 2026, some 6,000 qualified young people from Phu Tho province registered to join the military and the Public Security Forces. Among them, about 700 citizens joined the Public Security Forces.

This year, the quality of recruits has continued to improve, with more than 300 university or college graduates and 140 Party members. Notably, nearly 2,000 enlistees voluntarily applied for enlistment, representing the strong sense of responsibility and aspiration to serve the Fatherland of the youth in Phu Tho.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen and provincial leaders presented flowers and gifts to the recruits, encouraging them to do national service, continuously cultivate their virtues, restlessly train in armed forces’ skills, and successfully fulfill the tasks entrusted to them, living up to the heroic traditions of the ancestral land.

The success of the 2026 enlistment ceremony further has reflected the strong political determination of Phu Tho province to fulfill national defense and security missions, while spreading the image of a dynamic and dedicated young generation who is ready to contribute to the peace, stability and sustainable development of the nation.
