Deputy Minister Pham The Tung inspects security and order protection at Tan Son Nhat International Airport

After listening to a brief report on the security and order protection work at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in recent times, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung hailed the efforts and achievements of the Tan Son Nhat International Airport Police Station over the past period, praising it for its close coordination with relevant units to employ synchronous measures to effectively address passenger congestion at the airport and ensure safety and efficiency for thousands of flights and millions of passengers arriving in Vietnam.

To ensure security and order before, during and after the 2026 Lunar New Year, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung requested officers and enlistees of the Tan Son Nhat International Airport Police Station to continue performing well immigration management, upholding a high sense of responsibility in serving the people and foreign nationals, thereby contributing to enhancing the image of the Public Security Forces in the eyes of the public and international friends.

At the same time, the Deputy Minister urged the Tan Son Nhat International Airport Police Station to attach much importance to ensuring security and order in exit and entry, with an aim to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of exit and entry.

He also requested the police unit to comprehensively evaluate difficulties and obstacles that need to be addressed and then promptly propose upgrading and supplement of technological utilities to ensure effective immigration control and aviation security at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
