
Deputy Minister Pham The Tung works with Hiep Thanh Communal Police Station
Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung had a working session with the Hiep Thanh Communal Police Station on the morning of November 10 in Lam Dong province.

Reporting to the Deputy Minister, Chief of the Hiep Thanh Communal Police Station Lieutenant Colonel Phan Huu Son stated that, in recent times, the unit has proactively grasped the local situation, took comprehensive measures to prevent and control crime at the grassroots and organized regular patrols to promptly address issues related to security and social order.
The local police have also further consolidated and expanded the “All People Protecting National Security” movement with many effective self-managed and self-protected models, contributing to maintaining security and stability in the locality.
Speaking at the working session, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung highly appreciated the dedication and effort of the officers and enlistees of the Hiep Thanh Communal Police Station, saying that they had achieved good work results in spite of the various difficulties arising from the local government’s transition to the two-level administrative model.
The Deputy Minister requested the station to continue improving its advisory work for local Party committees and authorities, maintain effective crime prevention measures and promptly handle incidents related to security and social order at the grassroots.
He also emphasized the importance of closely monitoring and managing the local situation to proactively identify and prevent potential drug-related hotbeds from emerging.
Deputy Minister Pham The Tung further urged the Lam Dong Provincial Police Department and local Party committees and authorities to continue supporting the communal police force with facilities, equipment and operational tools to create favorable working conditions for communal-level officers and enlistees to fulfill their duties of safeguarding national security and ensuring social order in the new situation.
