Hai Phong communal police strengthen immigration management capacity

Deputy Director of the Hai Phong City Police Department Senior Colonel Bui Manh Hung attended and delivered a keynote speech at the program.

During the course, officers received in-depth training on updated regulations and functions regarding immigration management and the management of foreigners.

The training course is especially important as the communal-level police has taken on the responsibilities of immigration management as well as  of receiving, managing and utilizing temporary residence information declared by foreigners at local police units.

During the training program, experienced immigration officers also introduced the latest legal documents, shared practical experiences and answered questions on gathering and managing immigration data at the grassroots level. They also stressed the importance of communications, legal education and mass mobilization in preventing and combating illegal immigration.

The training course aimed to raise awareness, strengthen professional skills and equip officers with essential knowledge so that they can effectively perform their assigned tasks and responsibilities.
