Hue police return lost belongings to Russian tourist

The Immigration Division of the Hue City Police Department, in coordination with the Kim Long Ward Police Station, returned a passport and personal belongings to Mr. Klimov Pavel (born in 1973, Russian national), on September 19.

The tourist had accidentally lost them during his city tour.

Earlier, at around 5:00 p.m. on September 18, the Kim Long Ward Police Station received a report from a local resident saying that he had found a purse containing a foreign passport along with 600,000 VND on the street.

 The ward police immediately coordinated with the Immigration Division to verify the rightful owner.With their sense of responsibility and professional expertise, the police quickly identified the rightful owner of the lost items as Mr. Pavel, who was staying at Shark Hostel, No. 01/28 Vo Thi Sau Street, Thuan Hoa Ward.

The handover procedures were promptly completed on September 19, just in time before Mr. Pavel’s scheduled departure from Vietnam on September 20.

Receiving his lost belongings, Mr. Pavel expressed his deep gratitude to the Hue City Police Force, saying that he would share his story with his friends and family so that more people would know about the dedication and friendliness of the people of Hue, making the city a trustworthy tourist destination.

The good performance of the police also contributed to promoting a positive image of Hue City and its people to international visitors.
