MPS leadership pays tribute to late Minister Tran Quoc Hoan

A delegation of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, led by Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang, offered flowers and incense to late Minister Tran Quoc Hoan at the Memorial House dedicated to him in Thien Nhan commune, Nghe An province, on the morning of January 12, 2025.

The event took place on the occasion of the 110th birthday of former Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc Hoan (January 23, 1916–2026),

In a solemn atmosphere, Minister Luong Tam Quang and the delegation paid tribute to late Minister Tran Quoc Hoan—an outstanding disciple of President Ho Chi Minh, an eminent son of Nghe An, a steadfast communist, who devoted his whole life to the cause of national independence and socialism. He has become a shining example of revolutionary ethics and a talented exemplary leader of the People’s Public Security Forces.

Paying respect to his heroic spirit, the delegates committed themselves to forever stepping on the revolutionary path chosen by the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, continuously studying and following the ideology, moral example and exemplary life of Minister Tran Quoc Hoan, and building the People’s Public Security Forces as increasingly regular, comprehensively strong forces capable of excellently fulfilling their tasks in the new situation, worthy of the sacred honor and proud traditions of the heroic Vietnamese People’s Public Security Forces.

Following the incense offering, Minister Luong Tam Quang and the delegation visited the exhibition area displaying documents and artifacts related to the life and career of late Minister Tran Quoc Hoan.

Afterward, the Minister signed the memorial guestbook and planted a commemorative tree in the grounds of the Memorial House.
