
Ninh Binh police assist foreign tourist in recovering lost property
Recently, the Nam Hoa Lu Ward Police Station under the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department received from a local resident a black handbag containing a leather wallet, a mobile phone, a passport and several other personal items with a foreign name on them.

It is believed that a foreign tourist had forgotten his/her belongings in the waiting area of the Tam Coc Boat Pier, Nam Hoa Lu Ward.
With their strong sense of responsibility, officers from the Nam Hoa Lu Ward Police Station immediately initiated a search for the owner to return the property.
The police promptly made announcements via the local public speaker system as well as the police’s security and order Zalo groups, while working with accommodation establishments in the area to search for the owner.
Thanks to their intensive efforts, the ward police successfully found the bag’s owner who is Ms. Josephine Arielle (born in 2007, Dutch nationality), who had left her belongings behind while visiting and touring the area.
The police then invited her to the police station to complete the procedures for the return of lost property.
Upon receiving her belongings, Ms. Josephine Arielle expressed her delight and extended sincere thanks to the local resident and the Nam Hoa Lu Ward Police Station for their timely assistance.
