Public security wrestlers achieve high results at 2025 National Classical and Freestyle Wrestling Championship

The National Classical and Freestyle Wrestling Championship is an annual event co-organized by the Vietnam Sports Authority and the Vietnam Wrestling Federation to evaluate the quality of training wrestlers nationwide. 

The tournament created a good opportunity for athletes to exchange experience and improve their skills, as well as helped selecting outstanding wrestlers for the national team in preparation for international tournaments.

At this year’s competition, the Public Security Wrestling Team consisted of one team leader, one coach and ten athletes. 

With their high determination, solidarity, discipline and abilities, all members of the team performed well and achieved remarkable success.

Finally, wrestler Vu Van Hao won the silver medal in the 130kg Greco-Roman category, and wrestler Ho Sy Hai secured the bronze medal in the 97kg men’s freestyle category, while wrestlers Vu Lan Phuong and Nguyen Phuong Chi earned bronze medals in the 55kg and 53kg women’s freestyle categories.
