
Quang Ninh police return lost property to foreigner
Recently, the Cao Xanh Ward Police Station, under the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department returned lost property to an Indian national residing in the province.

Earlier, the Cao Xanh Ward Police Station received some lost personal belongings from a local who reported that he had found the property.
The police station assigned a team of police officers to find the rightful owner of the items.
After the verification, the police officers determined that the lost property belonged to Mr. Jilla Ramesh, an Indian citizen currently staying in Mao Khe ward, Quang Ninh province.
Next, the ward police contacted the accommodation facility, where Mr. Jilla Ramesh is residing, and asked him to come to the police headquarters to reclaim his lost belongings in accordance with the regulations.
At around 11:00 a.m. on January 16, 2026, Mr. Jilla Ramesh arrived at the Cao Xanh Ward Police Station and received his lost property, including a temporary residence card issued in his full name, two domestic bank cards and three international bank cards.
Upon receiving his lost belongings, Mr. Jilla Ramesh expressed his sincere appreciation to the officers of the Cao Xanh Ward Police Station for their high sense of responsibility, timely assistance and professional dedicated working attitude.
The prompt verification and return of lost property to a foreign national not only helped safeguard the lawful rights and interests of all people, including expats, but also contributed to promoting a positive image of the Vietnamese Public Security Forces as friendly, professional and people-oriented officers, while helping build a safe and trustworthy environment for foreigners living and working in Quang Ninh province.
