Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department strengthens cooperation with Heilongjiang Public Security Department, China

Prior to the official talks, Senior Colonel Le Ngoc Anh and the delegation paid a courtesy call on Director of the Heilongjiang Public Security Department Li Yi.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Senior Colonel Le Ngoc Anh sincerely thanked the Heilongjiang Public Security Department for its esteemed, thoughtful and cordial reception of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department’s delegation.

He said that although Thanh Hoa province and Heilongjiang province are geographically distant, the two sides share lots of similarities. For instance, the two provinces play important roles in socio-economic development and security protection in their respective countries.

The guest stated that, during the visit, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department wished to exchange views, learn working experience and enhance cooperation with the Chinese partner in capacity building and technology transfer in safeguarding national security, ensuring social order and safety and building the Public Security Forces.

Following the courtesy call on Mr. Li Yi, the two delegations held official talks.

At the talks, the two sides exchanged in-depth views on the security and order situation in their respective localities, and agreed to strengthen cooperation, share information and experience in the areas of political security, non-traditional security, cybersecurity, energy security, prevention and combat of transnational crime, drug-related crime, human trafficking and hi-tech crime, as well as coordination in the pursuit and arrest of internationally wanted and fugitives hiding abroad.

The two sides also agreed to promote cooperation in applying science and technology to social governance and traffic management, promote exchanges of delegations, and jointly hold professional refresher courses and foreign language training programs to improve the capacity of personnel of the two provincial police forces.

At the conclusion of the talks, both sides expressed confidence that, on the basis of the Vietnam–China friendship and the effective cooperation between the Ministries of Public Security of the two countries, relations between the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department and the Heilongjiang Public Security Department will continue to develop in a deeper, more substantive and effective manner, making a positive contribution to building a peaceful, stable and sustainable environment in the region.
