Vietnamese Public Security Sports Association achieves outstanding achievements in 2025

The Vietnamese Public Security Sports Association held a meeting to review its performance in 2025 and roll out tasks for 2026 on the afternoon of November 7 at the PVF Youth Football Training Center.

In 2025, the Public Security Sports Association has organized various major sporting events and activities of both national and international significance, drawing enthusiastic participation from public security officers, association members and the public.

Further, the association hosted several friendly tournaments for police and law enforcement forces of Vietnam and other countries, and signed several cooperation programs with international sports organizations.

In his remarks, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh praised the association for its efforts and contributions to the national sport sector, emphasizing that its activities significantly contributed to the development of the public security sports branch and the Vietnamese sports sector in general.

He noted that, over the past years, the Public Security Forces have promoted a vibrant sports movement, helping promote the image of the forces among the people and international friends, adding that each medal and victory earned by public security athletes at regional and global tournaments has inspired the Vietnamese sports community.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung commended the outstanding achievements of the Public Security Sports Association over the past time.

He requested that the association, in coordination with relevant functional units, should effectively implement Resolution No. 24 of the Public Security Central Party Committee on sports and physical training within the Public Security Forces in the new period, aiming to further develop public security sports in the coming time.

Deputy Minister Pham The Tung also urged the association to focus on building and upgrading sports facilities in public security units and local police departments, launch more physical training movements across the forces, and promote cooperation and joint training programs with high-quality national and international sports centers.

He also emphasized the importance of expanding international cooperation in the field of sports to get more experience in international competition and resources for sports in support of the physical training and sports movement of the Public Security Forces.
