
VNFPU1 opens swimming course for local children
In response to the 2026 Public Security Youth Summer Volunteer Campaign, the Youth Union chapter of the No. 1 Peacekeeping Police Unit (VNFPU1) under the Ministry of Public Security launched a project to renovate a community swimming pool and organize swimming and self-defense martial arts training courses for children in Hoang Hoa Tham Commune.

Recently, the VNFPU1 Youth Union chapter coordinated with the Hoang Hoa Tham Communal Youth Union to implement the community swimming pool renovation project while equipping the facility with life buoys and safety equipment to help prevent drowning incidents.
In an effort to provide local children and young people with essential knowledge and skills in drowning prevention, safe swimming techniques, the unit has organized swimming courses for more than 1,300 children in Hoang Hoa Tham Commune.
In addition, police peacekeepers has opened self-defense martial arts classes for 740 local children, instructing them basic self-defense martial arts and responses to common dangerous daily life situations.
The police peacekeepers’ meaningful activities have created a safe, healthy and beneficial environment for local children during the summer break, contributing to reducing the risks of drowning accidents, school violence and child abuse.
The program has also helped strengthen the close relationship and effective coordination between the unit and local Party committees, authorities and mass organizations, while further promoting the positive image of the Public Security Forces in general and the Peacekeeping Police Force in particular among the people.
